Today in language we were asked to jot down a few thoughts on what makes a book, movie, or TV show scary. So since I am a big scary movie contributor, I thought I’d make a list for my blog entry today!
1. Music
2. Blood and Guts
3. Scary Masks or figures
4. Shadows
5. Witchey Laughs in the dark
6. Scary figures in the window or mirror
7. Element of suspense
8. people mysteriously disappearing.
9. Narrirators with creepy voices.
10. Strange coincedences in your own life.
So there ya go! Theres more but my computer is starting to freeze!

Fear is a CEREBRAL emotion, it works on the mind, not the gut. That’s what the purveyors of these “splatter” movies and novels don’t understand. They substitute gore for careful plotting and characterization and think they’re clever, nihilistic, daring…
